Care and Maintenance

Leather: Dab spillage immediately with a soft dry cloth. Do not use soaps, oils, preserves or abrasive materials to clean. Do not expose to direct heat, sunlight or elements.

Leather is a natural product, and each hide will have its own unique characteristics. Slight blemishes, grain and color variations may appear from hide to hide, these are not considered defects but individual characteristics of the hide.

Fabric: Dab spillage immediately with a soft dry cloth. Vacuum regularly to remove dust. Do not use any abrasive materials to clean. For stubborn stains and spots, we recommend professional cleaning. Do note expose to direct heat, sunlight or elements.

Bonded Leather/PU: Clean spills with a damp cloth and mild dish soap. Wipe dry with a soft clean cloth. Do not use abrasive soaps to clean and do not expose to direct heat, sunlight or elements.

Concrete: For daily care, clean with dish soap and warm water; dry immediately with a lint free cloth. Do not use acidic cleaning products as it can damage the surface of the product. We recommend, ensuring the longevity of the product, to re-wax the table surface periodically, every 3 to 6 months depending on use, with a stone floor wax with a paraffin base.

Concrete can be considered a ‘living product’ as it will expand and contract with the seasons. Because of this, it is natural for hairline cracks to appear over the lifetime of the product. These are not considered defects but part of the product lifeline. We recommend that when cracks do appear, apply a coat of wax with a paraffin base into the affected area. This will prevent moisture from seeping into the crack and causing further damage. Additionally, there will be some slight variation in colour, texture and porosity unique to each product. Again, these are not considered defects but individual characteristics of a handmade, natural product.

Marble: Marble is a natural product and will have certain characteristics, cracks / breaks / fractures / color variations / part of natural make up /  dust clean / wipe with damp cloth / do not leave pools of water / use coasters / do not put direct heat

Wood & Veneer: Do not expose to direct heat / clean spills immediately / wipe clean with dry cloth / use appropriate wood cleaner / do not use abrasive chemicals / Dust frequently with soft lint free cloth / avoid using oil based cleaners, polish or wax.

Metal: Wipe clean with soft dry cloth / do not use abrasive cleaners / if needed clean with soft damp cloth and mild non-abrasive dish soap.
